Biography
Andrea Lani is the research and team manager at KU Leuven's Center for Mathematical Plasma Astrophysics and has a long-standing career in developing models and software to simulate hypersonic flows around spacecraft and space weather.
Andrea has contributed to significant platforms like COOLFluiD and ESA’s VSWMC, and currently leads the MEESST project, focused on creating the first magnetic shielding demonstrator for space re-entry.
