Biography

Subith Vasu is a Trustee Chair Professor at the University of Central Florida (UCF) and holds a secondary appointment with the Florida Space Institute. With a deep expertise in laser spectroscopy and optical diagnostics, he applies these technologies to space power and propulsion systems.

Since joining UCF in 2012, Subith has authored over 125 journal articles, including groundbreaking work in Science and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, and more than 400 conference papers, making significant contributions to advancing laser diagnostics in complex systems.
