Biography

Franco Fenoglio has been with Thales Alenia Space since 1990, working in Human Spaceflight and Exploration. Starting with thermo-mechanical component design, he progressed to subsystem and system-level roles, including Chief Engineer for ISS Nodes 2 and 3. In 2014, he took charge of the Advanced Exploration Programs Unit, and in 2017, he led the Human Spaceflight Programs Unit.

Currently, as Director of Human and Robotic Planetary Exploration, Franco oversees projects focused on Moon and Mars, including key infrastructures for lunar orbit and surface exploration.
